All About Michigan – The Sticker Series

Fort Gratiot Lighthouse

Fort Gratiot Lighthouse sticker

Welcome – and thanks for scanning! That sticker in your hand is the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse at Port Huron – Michigan’s oldest lighthouse, standing where Lake Huron pours into the St. Clair River, still guiding ships in from the big lake. Each design starts as one of our own photographs of the place, reworked into this illustrated style.

Golden hour on that tower is the shot you wait around for, and it is one of our favorite stops of the four-landmark road trip. Follow along for the rest of it – lighthouses, lake towns, backyard birds, and the bridge every night.
